Accreditations:
sometimes we need help
I feel deeply lonely
I carry so much shame
I feel worthless
I can't confront people
I feel like an impostor at work
I need to leave my partner but I can't
I have mood swings
I self-sabotage
I'm a people pleaser
I cannot set boundaries
I feel that I don't fit in
I always feel that something bad will happen
Why did they do that to me?
I'm terrified of making mistakes
I don't feel lovable
I carry unresolved trauma
My grief is endless
My self esteem is very low
I pretend to be someone that I'm not
I have a very harsh inner critic
Nothing excites me in life anymore

Methods that I use
-
Schema therapy will help you identify and most importantly, treat the unhealthy patterns that you’re stuck in. It is an in-depth type of therapy that includes inner-child work, re-parenting, future self or healthy adult work, rescripting of painful memories, visualisation techniques, and more…
-
EFT helps to identify and de-escalate negative interaction patterns in couples that contribute to conflict, distress, poor communication, dissatisfaction,, disconnection, etc. It is one of the most effective therapies for couples.
-
CBT is based on the idea that thoughts, behaviours and feelings are interconnected. It helps you to identify maladaptive thoughts and behaviours in order to replace them with healthier ways of thinking and reacting, making you able to constructively deal with challenges
-
It is an evidence-based type of therapy that identifies and treats the different parts in our mental system. For example, parts like an inner critic, a wounded child, a part that experiences large amounts of shame or anger, parts that want to protect you from pain by “distracting” you with drugs, over-eating, over-working, over-training, etc.
-
I use DBT to help people who specifically struggle with emotional regulation such us mood swings, anger outbursts, going from self-love to self deprecation, idealisation and devaluation of others, and intense fear of rejection/loneliness
FAQs
-
The length of therapy is highly personal and depends on your individual needs. goals and the frequency of your sessions. In general terms, clients coming with symptoms of anxiety or depression, report feeling better after 3-4 months of weekly therapy. For conditions like PTSD, personality disorders or multiple difficulties, therapy may last longer.
-
Talking about your difficulties or your past can be unsettling and intense but I’ll be there to help you process those feelings in a compassionate and non-judgemental way. On the other hand, there are also many occasions in therapy in which the sessions are smooth and filled with joy and gratitude to yourself.
-
Usually, we have 50 minutes of therapy, plus 5 minutes to recap, ask questions, book your next appointment, take pictures from our notes on the whiteboard, etc. Count with around 1 hour per session.
-
Absolutely! I’m trained to give sessions online and obtain the same results. You will need a high speed internet connection and some privacy during one hour. You’ll receive a reminder one day before and I’ll send you a Zoom link before your session.
-
No. I don’t take any insurances. However, you will get a receipt after paying for your sessions, which you can later show to your insurance to claim compensation.

I do not work with clients who are actively suicidal, who have alcohol/substance abuse, schizophrenia or eating disorders. These clients may need a team of professionals and in some cases 24/7 care. Unfortunately, I don’t have a team of professionals working with me nor the facilities to treat these clients. Please, seek care from the health care system through your local vårdcentral.

No. I do not prescribe medication.

Absolutely. Confidentiality is one of the most important components in therapy, as successful therapy requires a high degree of trust. All my notes from our sessions will remain under lock and key and nobody will have access to them without your written authorisation.
